About 12 years ago we adopted a kitty cat that we named Ikky (short for Icarus). She had to stay either in the garage or in my husbands office upstairs. I could not be around her because of asthma. One day I remembered that Dr. Lubecki told me in a office visit one time how to defeat allergies - by holding in one hand the object you are allergic to and with the other hand tapping the middle of your chest - up and down. So I went into the garage and picked up Ikky. I held her in my left hand while I tapped with my right. It may sound strange but I am not allergic to Ikky anymore. I can hold her, pet her, and play with her - no problem!
